Shelf life - Sunday photo

Believe it or not the rest of our house is relatively clutter free - but I made up for it here...

It's sort of like the old me escaped and went on a trinket/toy/tat gathering binge.

To be fair, many of the toys are ones I've made and can't face selling, and there's a lot of stuff rescued from my 8 year old daughter's room. She doesn't like ANYTHING on surfaces (what's wrong with her??) - I'll often find a small pile of unwanted nicknacks outside her bedroom door. Can't bear to get rid of them, so I shuffle things along.... and make a space.

  1. I love a good shelfie! I especially love your shelf, I have a love of collecting little things but they tend to end up in a drawer, I really need a nice shelf to display things on.

    1. Thanks Anne! Wasn't the plan when we got the shelves, thought I'd display a few carefully selected things... slowly evolved into a mad mishmash! But think it pretty much sums me up :)

  4. That’s a picture to pore over. Of course, now you’ve taken the photo, you have a record of all those little memories, and you could throw a few away. No? I thought not, but just think of the next time you have to move!

  5. What a lovely shelf! It's beautiful! My mummy is the same and likes keeping my old toys and teddies. I think she might adopt something like this too! #MySundayPhoto

  7. What lovely things on your shelf. I think the ones you make are too special to sell. I absolutely understand, as I do the same thing! I have a box of the toys I've made though.
