Room with a View - March

Who'd have thought it? Photo three of my room with a view project and already two snowy scenes. And although it's not the picture I was expecting to post for March, it's pretty apt, because so far March has been blinking miserable hasn't it? Chilly, grey and dreary - even the daffodils don't seem to be able to face the weather and are hiding away. It's always been drummed into me to prune roses before St Patrick's day, but that didn't happen this year. Still frost about. Cutting back and clearing came to a grinding halt when the bitter cold set in and sapped the joy out of being in the garden.

So this is March; even the neighbour's horses can't believe what they're seeing - here's hoping April's entry will have a hint of spring about it!

Last month's room with a view photo is here
and I'm linking up with Louise's Photo of The Week.

    1. Thanks so much, we are blessed with the view. It does look great with the snow, but would be good to see more colour out there! Will be interesting to look at all the photos together at the end of the year.

    1. Swap you! Quite fed up with it now! I was lucky with the horses - just looked out and there they were, all next to each other gazing into the distance, so, quickly grabbed my camera!! Thank you :)

  9. Love the almost silhouettes of the horses and the tree framing the greyer scene yonder. Horses aren't daft, they stick their bums up into a hedge to shelter from the wind. Looks though, as though they are all admiring the view! Tee hee hee!

    1. Thank you! Love looking out over the fields - one of the great things about living on a hill, though not so keen on driving down the hill when it's like this! Thanks so much for following x

  11. I love these photos!! And wow, who would have believed March's would be so snowy!!! I was very surprised to hear the UK had had so much snow on Saturday! The horses do look a bit put out by it don't they?
